If I am being honest with you, it is not you or me who can achieve a new year of better habits and a healthier life. Any eternal success is solely up to the work of Jesus Christ in our hearts for His glory.
If the holidays feel especially heavy this year, our Hope Through the Holidays collection offers Scripture, prayers, and gentle guidance to help you walk with God through your grief. Find comfort for your hurting heart and be reminded that even now, the light of Christ is still shining for you.
May these resources for activities and crafts be platforms to share Jesus’ love with the next generation. God invented fun, so He is not opposed to us enjoying games, being creative, or doing crafts. Everyone is different, but these are some diverse options to incorporate into your holiday season with your loved ones.
How should Christian parents, grandparents, and caregivers approach Halloween? For many families, it’s a fun and lighthearted holiday where kids dress up, laugh with friends, and gather buckets of candy. But for others, the concerns about its history, spiritual influences, and ties to darkness feel too significant to ignore.
So where’s the balance? Is there a way to enjoy the community aspects of Halloween while staying true to your faith? Or is it better to step away entirely?
In thinking through this, I am not going to give you my personal convictions, but here are some questions to simply ask as your make decisions. It is likely not going to be an all in or all out scenario. This is what makes it tricky to say one way for all people, however we can pray and ask the Holy Spirit to make clear the convictions that He desires for us and give peace where it is permissible for us.
There’s nothing wrong with attending an over-the-top festival or getting the best shot at the pumpkin patch, but enjoy the moment and the gift of living in a world of Octobers.

As Thanksgiving draws near, our minds often rush to the details - finding the perfect turkey, pulling out those well-loved family recipes, and getting everything just right for the big day. But beyond the shopping lists and kitchen prep, this season is really about something deeper: slowing down, preparing our hearts, and remembering all that we have to be grateful for.
To help you do just that, we’ve gathered 30 of our favorite devotionals on thankfulness. Each reflection is designed to gently turn your focus back to God, reminding you of His presence and His blessings in both the ordinary and extraordinary moments of life.
Our prayer is that as you read through these devotionals, your heart will be stirred toward gratitude, your spirit refreshed, and your joy renewed, not just for Thanksgiving Day, but for every day that follows.
